Next season though, the ‘special one’ has his eyes on Premier League glory and he is willingly to spend any amount to achieve that feat.
The 24-year old snubbed a offer from former club Chelsea to join the Red Devils on a whooping £75m transfer fee.
With 53 goals in 113 appearances for ex club Everton, Lukaku is a determined goal poacher and Mourinho will look to build his team around the striker.
One player though that influenced the signing of Lukaku is Paul Pogba.
The France International and world’s most expensive signing had a relatively modest first season at Manchester; that culminated to scrutiny of the large amount Manchester United paid to secure his services from Italian outfit Juventus.
Pogba, 24, is a man on a mission next season and if he plays to his full potential, Man United could have a sturdy team to play against next season.
